Psychoeducational Fees/Policies
For comprehensive psychological assessments, the fee is required in two parts: a 50% deposit payable before the start of the assessment, and the remaining balance due upon the completion and delivery of the report and feedback. For therapy, full payment is due at the time of your appointment. Cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) are accepted.
If you have a health insurance policy, it will usually provide some coverage for mental health treatment. Dr. Sutera is considered an out-of-network provider. If you would like to consider reimbursement from your insurance company, it is advised that you contact your insurance company directly and ask if they provide out-of-network coverage for the service you are requesting. Dr. Sutera can provide you with the appropriate CPT codes for insurance billing purposes, as well as additional assistance that may be needed in helping you receive benefits; however, you (not your insurance company) are responsible for full payment at the time of service. Upon completion of the service, you will receive a receipt, including the information required by your insurance, which can be submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement.
